How often should I service my aircon in Singapore?

What's the difference between a chemical wash and a chemical overhaul?
A chemical wash cleans the coils and fan in place. An overhaul takes the unit apart so each part can be soaked and cleaned, and usually includes a gas top-up. An overhaul is for units that are struggling or long overdue.
My aircon is leaking water. What does that mean?
Usually a blocked or misaligned drainage pipe, or a dirty coil. A general service often fixes it. Switch the unit off if water is dripping near sockets.
